I didn't believe in spirituality, energy or any of that stuff. Even yoga was way too woo-woo for me.
WHY I DO THIS
I thought this was all there was.
I'd completely given up hope of ever feeling ‘normal’. Actually good. Happy, with real joy, love and warmth in my life. I felt awful so often, mentally and physically, that I thought I was too damaged. I saw myself as the problem and couldn't see much in life anymore.
If I had to put my happiness then and now into numbers, it felt like maybe 10% then and at least 95% now. That's not a measurement. It's how enormous the difference feels to me. I never imagined I could feel so different.
That's why I do this now. Precisely because I'd lost hope in myself and in life. If so much could change for me, that gives me hope for others, including anyone who thinks it'll always be this way. I want that joy, love and warmth for everyone. My story isn't a promise that your path will look the same; it's why I want to stand beside you while you find your own way.
I went to Thailand thinking: free holiday, nice. I could stay there in exchange for work, help out a bit and spend time somewhere beautiful. I thought: nice, a retreat, palm trees, good weather, enjoying myself, some peace.
But when I arrived, doing all the sessions was part of the exchange too. I'd sort of heard that, but hadn't actually stored it in my head. So I joined in five days a week, Monday to Friday, from seven in the morning until around eight at night. Alongside that, I helped out and was guided in what they did so I could eventually offer it myself.
The sessions showed me how much was sitting beneath the surface: trauma, stress, pain and limiting beliefs about who I was and what I did. Things I was carrying without knowing they'd come up in those sessions. So I couldn't have told you beforehand which technique I needed either.
I'd basically accepted that I'd feel depressed forever. That my mental health would never really be good, and that I'd always live with post-traumatic stress and other conditions. The same went for the pain in my body: I'd just accepted it would always be there.
Like I'd live at 50 per cent forever. Like I'd never feel, in quotation marks, ‘normal’. That was the future I pictured for myself. And suddenly I was there, doing sessions every day that let me experience something different.
That whole period felt like being stripped of everything, even food. For the first few days, we had raw vegetables, fruit and water. That was it. After four days came the master cleanse: water, lemon, cayenne pepper and honey. I did that for fourteen days; I didn't eat or drink anything else during that time.
I experienced it as if my body was empty and, together with everything happening in the sessions, I was really reaching my core. Pain, beliefs and parts of myself I couldn't normally access like that. It felt as though things were surfacing that I hadn't been able to reach before, and I could finally feel them and give them space. It went far beyond just relaxing: I noticed how much I'd actually been carrying.
This describes my personal experience of that retreat. It isn't advice to follow that eating regime, and my experience doesn't prove that eating so little releases trauma or causes recovery.
Every session was different, and that's how I work now too. You discover what's needed as you go. You can't always know at the beginning, because things may come up that you don't have words for yet, or didn't even know were there. So you can't always know which session will fit beforehand either.
That's why I've explored such a wide range of holistic approaches, with Internal Alchemy as an important foundation that brings much of it together. I want to draw on different techniques and keep responding to what comes up for someone, instead of deciding everything in advance. That's how my own experience has carried into what I learn and how I work.
What started as ‘free holiday, nice’ took on a completely different meaning. Gradually, it felt like I was resetting myself, and I went back another three times.
I'm Lisz, 31 years old. I love working, learning and creating. If something grabs me, I want to understand it. I dive in, learn about it and want to know what I can actually do with it.
My body, my mind, how I react and perform, and how it all connects: I want to understand more of it. My interests are broad because my curiosity is too, from holistic health and strength training to business and creativity.
CREALIS brings that together. The spiritual side, the grounded side and the curious side that always has another question. Most of all, the real me, with every part that comes with it.
SCEPTICAL AND CURIOUS
I don't believe everything. I want to experience it.
If you'd told that earlier version of me I'd be working with bodywork and spiritual techniques, honestly.
What changed was my own experience. I noticed things I'd dismissed beforehand. I felt what those days did to me. That means something to me, even when I don't have a complete explanation for it.
That sceptical side hasn't gone anywhere. I still ask questions. That's why I connect with spiritual people and people with both feet on the ground. You don't have to switch off either side with me.
I come from the streets and took a different path, but I'm still myself. Even if you've never felt at home in that polished wellness world, you don't have to perform a different version of yourself here.
MY PATH
What I learn, I bring with me.
THAILAND / 2022 · 2023 · 2024
A different way of seeing things
At first, Thailand was just: free accommodation in exchange for work, nice. I ended up doing every session Monday to Friday, from early morning until evening, while helping out too. I went back again afterwards. Those experiences are a huge part of why CREALIS exists today.
BODY & MOVEMENT
From strength to awareness
I earned my fitness trainer qualification at Sport & People and have a background in strength training and powerlifting. I know how good it feels to get strong and work towards something. Bodywork also changed how I listen to what my body needs.
STILL LEARNING
More than one perspective
I explored Reiki and Internal Alchemy, the mind-body connection and nervous system regulation: how stress, thoughts and emotions connect, and how experiences can affect your body and responses. I learned about TRE and tremors — natural shaking — EFT, breathwork, fascia, qigong, somatic release and shadow work. I also took courses on detox, routines and feminine and masculine energy in relationships. I'm still learning, because I'm nowhere near done.
WORKING WITH PEOPLE
Room for the whole story
I've worked with young people, older people and children; I've been around pretty much every age group. My background ranges from hospitality, sales and social media to personal training and theatre production. In all those different worlds, I worked with people, and I bring that experience into what I do now.
MOTHERHOOD
Taking care of everyone. What about you?
I'm also a twin mum. And yes, that's love. So much love. It's also a lot at once. Motherhood makes ‘where am I in all of this?’ a very real question.
You're a mother, a partner, an entrepreneur, the one who remembers everything that still needs doing. And somewhere in there, you're also yourself. That woman deserves room. Even if the laundry's still waiting.
That's why I love working with women and mothers carrying so much. Women tired of surviving who want to know what they feel, need and want again.
UNFILTERED HEALING
Healing can be beautiful. And sometimes it's just fucking hard.
Sometimes you cry. Sometimes you're angry. Sometimes you haven't got a clue anymore. And sometimes you laugh right in the middle of it. For me, all of that belongs. You don't have to play some beautiful, peaceful version of yourself here.
WHAT CREALIS STANDS FOR
Warmth. Honesty. Room to grow.
I work with attention, intuition and a whole lot of curiosity about who you are. You can say what's really going on. Including the things you normally swallow or brush off with ‘but I'm fine, honestly’.
Ask more questions. Tell me when something doesn't fit. Set a boundary. I want you to stay yourself while we work together. You don't have to follow me just because I say so.
My dream is a retreat space of my own. Somewhere people can land, grow and catch their breath. CREALIS is how I'm building towards it. With everything I learn, everything I've experienced and the person I'm still becoming.
